About Our Medical Director

Dr. Shad Grubbs has served as our center’s Medical Director since 2001. Dr. Grubbs attended University of Texas - Houston Medical School and completed his Internal Medicine Residency through the University of Colorado. He also completed his Geriatric Fellowship through the University of Colorado.

Dr. Grubbs is a Certified Medical Director and a member of the American Medical Directors Association (AMDA), Colorado Medical Directors Association (CMDA) and the American Geriatrics Society (AGS). He serves on multiple committees at Platte Valley Hospital and serves as a Deacon at his church.

When he has free time, Dr. Grubbs enjoys spending it with his family, participating in church activities and being outdoors.
